SCF (Small Cell Forum) is the telecoms organization driving universal cellular coverage through the adoption of small cells. Carrier-led, the Forum’s members address commercial, practical and technical issues in order to deliver deployable, reliable and profitable 4G and 5G coverage. Project focuses have included business models, virtualized architectures, automation, open interfaces, and backhaul. The Fourm identifies requirements through global operator input and accelerates results via strategic partnerships with industry organizations and standards bodies.
The SCF board includes AT&T, Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, Qualcomm Technologies Inc., Reliance Jio, SoftBank Corp and SpiderCloud Wireless.
