Meeting user needs in public health – taking a digital approach
Digital ways of working and service design approaches have already supported many government bodies to transform and improve how they serve users, these approaches need adapting and reimagining within the complex space of public health.
When designing within this complex space service designers, delivery teams, and public health professionals must consider the benefits of a multidisciplinary approach and how best to integrate evidence, such as behavioural change theory, into the design process.
We will be sharing the challenges, opportunities, and learnings of embedding service design thinking within the development of products and services at Public Health England.
